This is a tincture of wild organic sweetgum tree seed balls, Liquidambar styraciflua, and USDA organic star anise, Illicium verum. The seed balls were harvested from un-spoiled land in the NY Finger Lakes. Tinctured in 80 proof triple charcoal filtered, vegan, gluten-free, kosher grain alcohol for 90 days. Extraction ratio 1:3. This provides shikimic acid.
All our products use wild organic, organically grown, or USDA organic plant materials. Plants are harvested from remote wild areas, unspoiled private land, and organic gardens cultivated by us, our friends, and our local farmers and beekeepers. USDA organic materials are purchased locally, or from established well-known vendors online. We try to purchase plants grown in the U.S. and Europe and we choose not to purchase from China.
