Balm of Gilead & Frankincense Salve is made with wild harvested cottonwood tree bud resin, and USDA organic frankincense essential oil. It also contains local beeswax, USDA organic vitamin E, and USDA organic extra-virgin olive oil. It is antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory. Cottonwood bud resin contains salicin, a precursor to aspirin. Frankincense contains boswellic acids which may reduce inflammation.

Vitamin E provides antioxidants that support skin and extend the shelf-life of the oils. Beeswax supports a healthy, balanced skin flora and is long-lasting. Olive oil provides polyphenols which are antioxidant.
