This is a tincture of organically grown comfrey root, Symphytum officinale. The root makes a stronger tincture than the leaves. Tinctured in 80 proof triple charcoal filtered grain alcohol for 90 days. Extraction ratio 1:3. We recommend it for external use only.
Comfrey tincture has been used for musculoskeletal and skin support.

Plants are harvested from remote wild areas, unspoiled private land, and organic gardens cultivated by us, our friends, and our local farmers and beekeepers. USDA organic materials are purchased locally, or from established well-known vendors online. We try to purchase plants grown in the U.S. and Europe and we choose not to purchase from China.
