Organic Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is also known as “knitbone” because it has been traditionally used to encourage bone healing and relieve musculoskeletal pain. It contains allantoin, a substance that promotes cell regeneration, and rosmarinic acid which is strongly anti-inflammatory.

Wild Organic Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is very high in silica, a component of skin and bones. It is anti-inflammatory and can increase collagen production. It is antimicrobial and can accelerate the healing of small burns and wounds. Horsetail is good for skin, hair, and nails and can fight nail psoriasis. It is antimicrobial and antifungal and can help hasten the healing of small wounds and irritations. 

USDA Organic Calendula (Calendula officinalis) Calendula is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for treating wounds, rashes, and infections. It contains flavonoids which are strongly anti-inflammatory. It encourages the adhesion and augmentation of fibroblasts which encourage tissue repair and immune responses.

Non-GMO Manuka Honey MGO 50+ The importance of honey in the field of wound treatments is well-known. This healing property is due to antioxidant and antibacterial activity and maintaining a moist wound condition. The high viscosity of honey provides a protective barrier on the wound. Manuka honey contains phenolic compounds with potent antioxidant properties. In addition, studies have shown that honey can exert anti-proliferative effects against cancer cells mainly through apoptosis. Microorganisms sensitive to manuka honey: S. pyogenes, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). S. agalactiae, S. aureus, Coagulase-negative S. aureus (CONS), Enterococcus, Hemolytic streptococci, S. mutans, S. sobrinus, Actinomyces viscosus, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Acinetobacter baumannii, Salmonella enterica serovar typhi, P. aeruginosa, P. mirabilis, Shigella flexneri, E. coli, Enterobacter cloacae, Shigella sonnei, S. typhi, K. pneumonia, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Burkholderia cepacia, H. pylori, Campylobacter spp, and Porphyromonas gingivalis.
