This is a tincture of USDA organic black cohosh root, Actaea racemosa, that has been purchased from an established vendor of organic plants here in the USA. The root is extracted in 80 proof triple charcoal-filtered grain alcohol for 90 days, with a ratio of 1 part plant to 3 parts alcohol.
Black cohosh tincture is a "women's herb" which may help support menopause.
All our products use wild organic, organically grown, or USDA organic plant materials. Plants are harvested from remote wild areas, unspoiled private land, and organic gardens cultivated by us, our friends, and our local farmers and beekeepers. USDA organic materials are purchased locally, or from established well-known vendors online. We try to purchase plants grown in the U.S. and Europe and we choose not to purchase from China.
